France Sept 2011

Sorry for the delay, I know you have all been waiting with baited breath to see my artistic photos of the Alabaster Coast Normandy.

This is Fecamp about 12 kms from the site and a very nice harbour.

This is Etretat with the rock formation like an elephant trunk

This is Port Antifer they have water scooter championships here, I just arrived for the medal ceremony

This is the camp-site at les Loges I am stood on my pitch and the pool is in the distance.

My pitch, it is a very nice site here

St Valery-en-Caux again all white cliffs hence the Alabaster Coast.

The weather did not do this holiday justice, and I did stay in one place too long, but I was trying to avoid putting up and taking the awning down too often.

not much info up to date

Owing to my new super duper phone, I have not done much blogging, every time I turn it on to send or receive texts messages, it turns on the internet and it is costing me a fortune. I tried to use a WiFi at the last site but the signal was so weak, it took ages to connect and I ran out of time, and money.. Now at this site I will try to update my holiday blog.WiFi free here.

More from Wales

Even if it's raining we can still have fun.

September in France Day One

It started OK nice early start BUT the M6 was manic wall to wall cars and lorries. Visited Rob and Maureen for morning coffee, had a reasonable drive to Ray and Sylvia, but now a bit behind, not to worry motorway all the way. Joined the London car park (M25) it was stop, stop start 2 mph stop, stop, go 1 mph, it took nearly 6 hours to go 175 miles. Hotel OK but for £19 per night what can you expect. Reports all night about gales in the channel, so early start for day 2 got to Dover about 7.30 told I could get an earlier boat 8am for £40 extra or 10am for free, guess which I took. Now typing this at varying angles from right to left. Lots of white water, but we are going forward.
Lesson learnt, not going from Dover again, long, not nice drive on our side and further to drive in France.

So lets hope that's all the drama for this holiday, will send some nice pics.
